DIY Deck System
Quick Deck System
At Designers Touch, we offer a solution for homeowners who like to service their own homes. DIY Quick Deck Systems is our easy-to-install, minimal legwork service that is offered in a multitude of options, including residential backyard patios, roof patios and commercial applications.
How It Works
We will discuss the extent of assistance you require before designing and supplying all the elements necessary for you to construct your own deck. Included in your DIY system are instructions of assembly. If you still need assistance, we are happy to provide a portion or all of the installation service!

Installation Guide
Here is a brief installation example of our DIY systems (different based on project). Depending on your needs, we can assist in the foundational setup, nomenclature and instructions.
1. Adjust the heights of each pedestal for application. Place them at the site according to the measured span. Reference the grid and pattern for specific measurements.
2. Prepare the first aluminum joists for placement. Once separated, snap the aluminum joists onto each pedestal buckle. With enough pressure, there should be a notable sound for confirmation that it is snug.
3. Prepare the second aluminum joists. Cut the joists into a suitable size, then put the plastic components into both ends. Slide them through the grooves of the joists built in Step 2.
Move to the right position, then rotate it 90 degrees. Repeat this step to build a frame structure.
4. Install the decking panels onto the frame structure according to your specific decking installation guide.
